The Little Merman

Garrett started parent/child swim at the YMCA on Saturday. Grandma was nice enough to take him because Mommy is still recovering from her surgery. Hopefully I will be able to get in the water with him next Saturday, if not, maybe Grandma will step in for us again. Garrett and Grandma both had a great time. He is definitely the class clown! Lord knows he doesn't get that from me. He loved the water and all the other babies. The only part of the class that he wasn't to thrilled with was when he had to lay on this big fish. It only took three people to hold him down. I guess we need to work on that a bit. The poor little guy was so exhausted by the time we got home, he ended up taking a three hour nap. OK, Mommy did too! Garrett was able to pick a couple of toys to play with. He chose a pony and a .....FROG! I know that shocks everyone.

Check out my Pooh trunks and Buddah belly!

Waiving to the camera.

The whole class singing to Garrett. He loves the attention.

Measuring Spoons

Garrett has been playing with Great Grandma's measuring spoons. Now whenever we go to Grandma's house she gets out the spoons for him to play with. He likes to pretend like he is feeding Grandma.

Just Playing

A football and a half high

Well Garrett definately got something from his Uncle C.J., an obsession with football. It doesn't matter what size it is, if it's a football he is going to play with it. Uncle C.J. got his big football out the other night for Garrett to play with and we came to the conclusion that Garrett is about a football and a half tall. He had a heck of a time trying to pack that thing around!
