Sunrise and a golf cart.

Brandon got some really good pics of the sun coming up this morning. Notice I said Brandon, my butt slept in this morning. After we all got up Brandon rented a golf cart so we could ride up and down the beach. It was really fun, we road south to the pier and then headed north to the boardwalk.

So long Mickey

Here is the Mickey float.
This was Garrett's favorite. Woody looked at Garrett and gave him a thumbs up. He kept yelling "Lub you Woody".
Mr. Incredible was also a big hit.
We didn't even make onto the highway before our little guy tuckered out. It was a very long day.

As we were leaving the park we found out we were just in time for a parade down main street. The parade only lasted about five or ten minutes. Garrett was able to see some of his favorite characters. He was really excited to see Woody and Mr. Incredible.

Alex the Lion

Here is Garrett getting ready to get his face painted.
He did a really good job sitting still and closing his eyes.
He doesn't look like much of a tiger yet.
Getting his stripes.
Almost done...
The finished product.

All day we kept seeing these kids with their faces painted, I mean really elaborate face paint. It was really cool, so we headed to Mickey's Toon Town so Garrett could get his face painted. He chose a tiger, but he kept say he was Alex the Lion from Madagascar. The girl did a really great job it only took her about five minutes to do his whole face.

The day continues...

Brandon and Garrett driving at Mickey Motor Speedway.
This is his, don't mess with me lady, look.
Brandon let Garrett steer the whole ride, I think they both ended up with whiplash.

Garrett and the Emperor Zurg. The Buzz Lightyear ride was his favorite.
This is all of us waiting in line for "It's a small world". I would really like to rename it...I want to jump out of this boat because I can't stand listening to this stupid song one more time. The bad part is once you hear "it's a small world", it's embedding in your brain the rest of the day.
Eating some lunch. Chicken nuggets and apple slices.
Garrett and Brandon waiting in line for the magic carpet ride.

Characters

I love this picture, you can see how excited he was...

Once we entered the park we stopped in front in Cinderella's castle to watch a show. This was the first time Garrett saw any of the Disney characters. He flipped out, people in the crowd were laughing at how excited he was. He was shaking so hard and screaming "Hi Goofy, Hi Goofy." We could have left after that and he would have been just as happy.

The fun begins

This is the main entrance to the Magic Kingdom.
Brandon and Garrett pass through the entrance gates.

The ride to the park

We opted to ride the monorail into the magic kingdom instead taking the boat. After seeing this picture I'm not sure we made the right choice. Garrett looks scared to death. Notice the white knuckles gripping Brandon's shirt.

M.I.C.K.E.Y.M.O.U.S.E

We headed to the Magic Kingdom yesterday for some fun at the happiest place on earth. If you want to know the best time to go to Disney it's about 10:00a.m. on a Wednesday. The weather was nice, it wasn't too crowded, and we hardly had to wait in line for anything. Everyone had a great time. This was Garrett, Brandon, and Jason's first trip...I don't know who was more excited Brandon or Garrett.

Go fly a kite

Here is Garrett pouring sand onto Gigi's beach towel.

Here mom, have some sand.

Garrett and Brandon tried out their kite flying skills on the beach earlier in the week. Garrett got a really neat Buzz kite for his birthday so we brought it along. The beach was definitely a great place to fly it, with the constant breeze it had no problems staying up.

Alligators

He is poking the boobie on this statue...he is such a boy!!

We went to St. Augustine today and did some shopping. When we left we stopped by an alligator farm. It was really neat. They had some really big gators, they also had turtles, monkeys, and a lot of exotic birds. It is definitely some place we will go back to.

Strawberry coma

I just love the Strawberry face...

The little guy was so tuckered out that Brandon moved him from the car to the bed and he didn't wake up.

We headed to the big flea market in town today. We bought all kinds of good stuff. Garrett couldn't wait to get back to the hotel before he started eating the strawberries Brandon bought. I think he ate about seven before I looked over and he was passed out. I guess all this fresh air will do that to you!
