Here is Garrett picking up sticks and rearranging Grandma's yard ornaments.
Papa found a snail shell in the yard during the clean up. Garrett thought it was the neatest thing. The snail was gone, apparently it found a shell with air conditioning.
Here is cute pic of Garrett and Papa snuggling Wednesday morning. Garrett and I got up around 6:15 to head home so I could get ready for work. I don't know who enjoyed the snuggle more Garrett or Papa.

Lights out...
Well here it is Thursday, day number 5 without electricity, thanks to Sunday's wind storm. Am I bitter?! Me? Never! I know things could be a lot worse and there are families who have it a lot worse. I am grateful for the things we do have...but this friggin' sucks! Thanks to Grandma and Papa we are able to have hot showers and baths. They have also managed to feed us 3 times this week and let Garrett and myself stay the night twice. I, of course, am too chicken to stay by myself, with no electricity, when Brandon is working. I don't know what we would do without them. They are now saying all of Clarksville should be up and running by midnight on Saturday. I think I can make it until then. Someone told me to think of it like camping. I can camp for a weekend, I don't want to camp for a whole friggin' week. In my old age I want the comforts that my big butt has become accustom to. I want air conditioning! I want hot water! I want Regis & Kelly! I mean, please, this is just uncivilized. Ok, my rant is now over. Here are a few new pics of Garrett post storm at Grandma's house.
